Sanford, former South Carolina governor, drops bid for old House seat
Mark Sanford, the Republican former governor of South Carolina and a former congressman, ended his campaign for his old House seat Thursday. The 65-year-old, who entered the race March 30, said in a release that he will instead launch a national nonprofit and grassroots movement
