World Noodle Day

Noodles were documented in China as early as 4,000 years ago — a bowl was found preserved in the Lajia archaeological site. October 6th was designated World Noodle Day in 2006 by the World Instant Noodles Association to mark instant noodle sales exceeding 100 billion servings annually. That number is now 121 billion — one serving for every person on earth, every three days.
