World Autism Awareness Day

Designated by the UN in 2007, the day promotes understanding and acceptance of autistic people worldwide. An estimated 1 in 100 children is autistic. In recent years the autism community has shifted the conversation from awareness toward acceptance and meaningful inclusion in education and employment.
