Periodic Table Day

On February 7th, 1869, Dmitri Mendeleev wrote the first draft of his periodic table, arranging 63 known elements by atomic weight and leaving deliberate gaps for elements not yet discovered. He was right about nearly all of them. The remaining gaps filled in over the next 150 years.
