National Lasagna Day
Lasagna is one of the oldest forms of pasta, with a documented recipe in the 14th-century English manuscript Forme of Cury โ predating Italy's own records. The dish was adopted by Italy, adapted across its regions (Naples uses meatballs, Bologna uses Bolognese and bechamel), and eventually conquered the world via Garfield the cat.
