International Anti-Corruption Day
December 9th marks the signing of the UN Convention Against Corruption in 2003. Corruption costs the global economy an estimated $2.6 trillion annually — 5% of world GDP. Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index ranks Denmark, Finland, and New Zealand as the world's least corrupt countries, a position they have held for over a decade.
